The first day back after a long field trip is always challenging. I'm still buzzing from the Corsica trip, but today I'm dealing with bank fraud, a brimming inbox and IT issues. Things can only get better. So, for no reason other then the hell of it, here's a pic of Iceland.

poppy addiction

this was the scene in a poppy field near Norcia, Umbria a few hours ago. I'm realising that poppies are addictive, especially in the mist. D

Our first Umbrian Workshop finished last night with the unique combination of gorgeous evening light bathing the verdant valley around Preci with fresh snow on the peaks of Monti Sibillini National Park.

research

I'm doing research for this summer's trip to the Yukon. We can't wait to be in Canada again. This picture of Emerald Lake in British Columbia's Yoho National Park was shot on our last visit. For a landscape photographer Canada is heaven, but it's such a vast country it's difficult to know where to start. We've never been to the Yukon before, sounds like it will be some adventure.
